Mac OS Help needed in driver installation for xfx 8600GT 512MB card.

I am having GIAGABYTE GA-MA78GM-S2 board and trying to install MAC on my PC, I purchased XFX 8600GT 512MB card and tried to install drivers for my card, I tried KALAWAY 10.5.2 and IDENEB 10.5.4, in both I tried almost all the installers, I have seen most people succeed with v.41, but after installing in 10.5.4, I am getting screen with IDENEB in centre and mouse is blinking in corner, no icons in desktop, only successful for getting resolutions is nvinject 0.21(512MB), but no QE, please help me friends in getting fully functional.

Is the card working fine in Windows?
Anyways, try using NVdarwin/NVkush.
You can use EFI string too, download EFI Studio for this.

DO NOT select more than one driver that installs the same kexts! For example, do not select 2 nVidia kexts and do not select 2 AppleHDA audio drivers, etc. This will in many cases cause the install to fail.

Hi Folks

im getting desperate. Im searchin for a working efi-String for my 8600m GT. I tried the 8600 GT-String from efistudio but it didnt get my QE/CI working. Hope you can help me to find a way.

I hope you copied the EFI string to com.apple.boot.plist after generating it.

And you tried NVdarwin/NVkush or Titan Kexts on fresh installs..huh?

If you still don't get it working either you're messing up bigtime somewhere or your motherboard is screwing things up.

Finally got the solution, I removed the DVI port and just plugged in the VGA port, QE is enabled now, full functional, any help regarding DVI port enabling with dual display?.
