Help needed to setup wifi !

Hi ,

I got Tikona WiBro internet connection , Has good speed @ good rates. But the only prob is, i am not able to connect my Wifi router to it, they are saying they will provide the router and there is monthly rental for that router (Provided by them) . and i don't want to spend for that.

I come to know that by using some proxy settings we can use the normal wifi router.

Can any one help me on this?

It has lan cable from the tikona modem to my laptop and the tikona modem catches signal wirelessly. i am not sure about the connection type , when i open the browser i need to login through the tikona's website for accessing internet (and i get dynamic IP)
