System was running fine. I was deleting some old data and accidentally clicked on some exe file, cant recall what it was and my system rebooted giving a warning.
Now after bios screen passes nothing appears.
I'm able to boot to other harddisks to win xp and win 7 but not on this particular OS.
My all data/partitions are intact.
On booting to other hdd, eset detected infection in my hdd which isnt booting:
Eset wasnt able to clean it.
and pointed me to this link
Win32/MBRlock.C | ESET Virusradar
I dont think so this is that infection as I'm not even be able to go past bios post screen
Win 7 pro 64bit
NO DVD RW (so dont suggest me that boot from this and that dvd/cd)
So solutions for USB boot will be appreciated.
Did combofix etc. but that only scans your current boot C: drive and not other drive hence it was of no help.
Scanned with eset but found no virus.
So please help me out how to remove that boot sector virus.[DOUBLEPOST=1416899062][/DOUBLEPOST]Resolved!!!
