i am looking to buy a reliable,well constructed casing for my 2.5 inch sata hdd - 250gb wd.
i have had bad experiences with low end cheap 200-300rs casings before although they were ide casings they caused my 160gb hitachi ide to go kaput.
i am looking for brands like coolermaster,vantec.anything well built.
i would be particularly happy to buy the Cooler master x-craft 250 or the cooler master x-port. but no one seems to have these in stock.
the only options are-- apical casing--available with prime abgb for 300rs. (want to avoid)
transcend storejet casing--rs.650. (want to avoid-warranty reasons)
iball for 700rs and 1100rs respectively. (want to avoid)
what are the other good,well constructed casings available for 2.5 inch sata drives?

Get Transcend 2.5 Storejet AL housing - its the best we can get here
costs about 700 bucks with 2 years warranty
Dont go for the cheap chinese OEM ones

Iball is again a glorified distri of chinese OEM
 
i dont want chinese or transcend casings. i have heard bad reviews about transcend casings not being detected at times and the harddrive shaking inside the casing.
 
yes! it killed my 160gb 2.5 inch ide hitachi too! anyways i bought transcend casing. let;s see.
