hey...
can ny1 tell me if convertin an avi file to rmvb or any real media file... reduces the audio/video quality?
and... if a real media file is converted to an avi...
do we get gud quality or d same rmvb-kinda audio.. ?
im a total noob at techie stuff
jus want some help
thanx in advance

rm's will never be as good as avis but basically bigger the file(bitrate), better the quality

movies that fit in 1 cd are usually encoded at 750-800kbps afaik

With regard to converting from RM to AVI ... the quality of your audio (or video) can not improve from that of the source.

If avi files are converted to rmvb, there is a loss in quality, but then if done at right settings, the rmvb files are preety much watchable just like an avi on the computer... not on to a TV though..

if you convert an rmvb file to Avi, u wont get any better quality...
