Laptops Help Needed

Guys,

I have a HP Pavillion Dv2117tx Laptop and it has a dispaly problem, infact the screen is visible but very dull. please help how to restore the screen back. secondly the touch pad is not responding. please help.

Check the bios for display settings...

And try reinstalling the os..Check if there is a mouse in the device manager...
If not then maybe drivers r corrupt or some hardware probs...
If in warranty den dont bother, jus backup ur data n take it to a service center..
 
my warrenty period has expired a day ago, now not in warrenty they say it is the problem in lCD. reparing cost 25000

any othe ralternative
