Graphic Cards HELP !! No display after installing HD5450 2GB GPU

First off, I've been an AMDian for the last 12 years. Second, this is my first upgrade in almost 7 years, have watched and waited the dual cores and C2Ds etc. So what I buy now should not get outdated or too slow for another 6-8 years. My kids play some games and as they grow they will be playing more intense games, so I thought this will be good at a nice budget. Any hiccups in that ?
