Hello,

in my Cyber-Cafe, I am using original NOD32 Anti-Virus (ver:3.0.650) with Windows XP Home.

In NOD32 2.7, when someone inserts a pen-drive and choose NOD32 Scan, it used to have 2 buttons - 'SCAN' and 'SCAN and CLEAN'
We used to choose 'SCAN and CLEAN'
But, in this NOD32 3.0 version, it only do the SCAN, can't find 'SCAN and CLEAN' :ashamed:
My 2 Questions -

1. How to 'SCAN and CLEAN' the pen-drive without going thru the NOD32 control panel ?

2. Is there a way that as soon as the pen-drive is inserted, it will start 'SCAN and CLEAN' automatically ?

answers-
1.basicallly scan and "scan & clean" do not have much differences .....in scan option the scan completes then it asks to delete as per your wish but in scan and clean after every threat detected shows you a box to neglect or clean the virus.
2.you actually do not need to scan each time u plug your pen drive in .just explore it ...........i bet you no virus can entre your compter without double clicking or entre hit

^ no no, its not happening like that.

With this 3.0 version, when SCAN, it only displaying the list of Virus(s).

If I close it and re-scan it, then its showing them again. Not cleaning and there is no such button - 'CLEAN' !!

The only way to 'scan & clean' is from NOD32's Console -> Custom Scan.

-thats the problem-

Try rebooting into safe mode <F8> key as system rebooting and run the scanner, then reboot into regular windows and run on demand scanner again.

In the options set it to clean the virus if found, so when you scan and if a virus is found it will remove it, save your settings, then I think you can export it to other computers so by default whenever someone scans the device and a virus is found it will be automatically deleted/removed, hope this helps
