- recommend a power supply from link given below pls.

Need Info on following:

1) Am i buying value for money stuff as my aim is gaming.
2) I am not at all sure whether the mobo can support all the components like the Nvidia Geforce 8800GTS which requires a PCI Express slot.
3) I would need a decent power supply for all these. Pls suggest one around 80-100$ max from Power Supply, Computer Power Supply, Uninterruptible Power Supply, DC Power Supply at Newegg.com
4) Any other hardware recommendation is appreciated.

Ty very much for taking out time for this. I am grateful to all those who helped.

By the way Bottle i can tell u one thing. I was pretty pissed off when u banned the Mad Hatter account. I am not techboy, IP check me this time. U got the same IP when u checked coz i was posting from the iMAC at school and techboy uses that too. understandably he is a retard from what i figured out after reading his stuttering post but i could not help asking about it as a competition was there in DPS RK Puram on hardware overclocking and this techboy (AKshay) ad told us eleventhies participating to learn about the stuttering problem with his stupid 1900xt and im srrry to bring up the topic again as i am a new member on techenclave and didnt know that techboy was so famous over his stuttering post... Sorry for any trouble caused.

- Get the PSU locally. Thats one of the components most likely to fail and you wouldnt want to be scrambling around without warranty ;). I think one of the Seventeam PSU's should fit your 80-100$ budget easily.

- Not sure if the MSI 650i SLI board is better, but you can probably get the XFX 650i SLI locally again for 5k. The XFX is a pretty good board. Even the Biostar P35 based board available locally for 5k is a good deal. If you must get a board from there, you could probably check out the Abit IP35-E or IP35.

Yes all the boards will have a PCI-E slot to support your 8800GTS.

You could look for better/faster RAM. But i have no idea about suggestions. Perhaps someone else will pitch in :)

hm. Thx till now, is Nvidia planning on releasing any new graphic card series by november coz i dont wanna lose out on the latest product getting obsolete within a month..

^ Yep, I guess the November wait should be worth it.

RAM seems fine enough, what's your budget for the PSU? The Corsair HX620 should suit your purpose with even a mid-range 9-series part.

Btw, can somebody ban Arunhalo please :)

my psu budget is around 5-7k

Btw, someone was sellin an unopened 8800GTX 2 months old for 7k!!!
Should i buy it? The guy is reliable according to my friend.
