Help on RS MMC for N-6630

I want to know where i can get a transcend or A-Data 1 GB Rs MMC in Bangalore

I was told by my friend that someone in this forum had posted that u can get it in BTM Layout
If u can be more specific on where (BY giving the contact address or phone no ) it would be really great

1 gig would probably slow even the fast 6630. See if you can get sandisk. I've got two 512 meg sandisk's. Nothing comes close.

@vandal

From where did u get the sandisk MMC from and for how much

@goku

i have been trying to call that guy sabir from the afternoon but i was not able to get him , nywys now that i have come to mysore for the weekend

i will try calling him tomm or else i am going to the shop directly on monday

I have putted Kingston 1 GB RS-DV MMC in My Nokia N72 which came for Rs. 1400/- with Bill and Lifetime Warranty. It's absolutely as fast as it was with Initial Nokia 128 MB Bundled MMC Card. I guess Nokia N72 and 6630 have same 220 MHz Processor. I am not very sure about it.

Wait till you fill your card up with 500mb+ worth of data. I also run my N70 on 1gb card, with a lot of games and apps installed, it is always filled up to around 800mb or more, and it is very slow.

Actually you should'nt install much applications. I think only keep necessary Softwares, Few Themes and Games as less as possible. Only keep things which are'nt installed on the phone like MP3 Songs, Videos etc. I am sure this won't slow your phone even if you fill 90% of the total Memory space. It's almost the same concept as same as our PC.

^ i agree...filling up the card with lot of applications will slow down...but not the local files...& it may be a lil slow only which accessing gallery..etc
