Help out with a Speaker issue

hey...

A frnd of mine is having a pblm with his spks..

when turned on it does not give out any sounds... he turned the vol up and down..
he said after some hrs it does produce the sound....
with his some other spks he have no issue...its a altec 5.1...
he connected through UPS...

sounds very strange. Loose contacts somewhere ? Ask him to give the speaker some random knocks :P

else electronics repair shop!

It this the one you sold ?
 
No it isnt mine.. i said no functional issues and i gave 7 day warranty... and yea its over that period..after that its not at all my responsibility..

and yeas it can be repaired at any shops...its first time a product from me goes awry so just trying to help out someone...beyond that i am bound to do nothing

thats what anyone would do... i took stuff worth couple of grands with no warranty from lots a guys...i am sacred :(..but its just the way... :(

no man..its better to take to a guy who knows this... maybe its the resistor pot or the contact...

hey dont worry , i did my BE in EC and have worked with things, only thing i am noob is with audio ! i was never that much interested in audio. so that's why i was asking !!! ;)

yeah , finally ;)

i havent worked with audio devices so far. but when i investigated the speaker i cudnt find any screws or anyother which will open the main speaker.

um, we talked this over the phone. And I believe this issue has been closed.

EDIT: jerin can you please open the sale thread ? unable to submit feedback for the sale....
