Help: Rapidshare usage showing high

Guys,

I just got a premium account and for last 3 days of usage, it shows nearly 15GB used from the logs
whereas i have not downloaded more than 10GB :(
do you find the same issues on your account, what the problem

Also, does 5GB traffic-left keeps getting added everyday ?
mine is currently at -3MB :(

change ur password . Somebody is misusing it

By the way did u upload anything ?
 
yeah dude.. please do change ur password to something having char+nums+special keys.. and that too every month if possible.. i do the same.. i had my account leaked.. i mean i was able to track IPs form pakistan... england.. and others.. so i started changing my pass every 15days.. also if u dont download anyhting.. 5GB gets added everyday.. till 25GB .... after that nothing is added.. neway.. hope u ahve also activated the security lock features.. its really great.. and also uncheck this option "use trafic share when download limit reached" that way ur traffic share would b intact.. neway hope i was able to help...

If you are using flashget, data usage is always misreported on higher side. Never use flashget for RS. Change download manager to IDM, which is best for using RS.

5GB got added today

But the thing is, logs show only one IP downloading in a day (which should be mine) but it show more than i actual downloaded

IP keeps changing once in a day(session), since i am on dynamic IP and not a static one

and am not uploading anything, security lock was also activated since the 1st day

Yep, i use flashget :S
is IDM free or any other better alternative
 
hey.. u can use Jdownloader..its free...insted of flashget or IDM(IDM is a retail software).. everyone thinks its very complicated.. but i am using it rt now.. and its the best.. u can que up downloads.. nd it will auto extract..auto join the files when they are done.. i use it exclusively now.. also u can use the containers with it as well.. give it a try.. oh btw ud need latest verison of java for it to run...
 
Probably u have been a victim of phishing.
change the password Lock ur rapidshare acc so tht no one can change the email acc and also redeem ur points
Whenever u download from rapidshare .First logon on to rapidshare through original website so they will set cookies on ur pc.and then onwards u use ur down manager(add login details in down manager).No need to logon again for days only if ur cookies expire.Whenever u click the rapidshare link it (download manager)will directly start download
if login page appears then that most probably a phishing link.
Normally download from Katz.cd Phazeddl And katz.cd forum The forum has reliable links :hap2:
