Hey guys,

One of my friends, just Flunked in FYJC in Jai Hind College.

They arent passing him like they did the others. Who did fail.

They say, his 2 options are, give the 2 Exams [Subjects in which he failed (Maths and Hindi)] in October, and if he passes em, hell be allowed to sit next year for 12th. Ofcourse, hell loose a year.

2nd Option is Do it privately, and the HSC form will be sent through Jai hind college.

Hes going to do B.Comm. mostly, so itll be easier for him to get into Jai Hind BComm. He just needs 50% if hes a Jai Hind student, in the HSC to get into BComm, Else from another college or Private's, he needs 75%. Hes quite sure hell get 75% in HSC any how.

In any case, he will be dropping maths.

Right now, his Dad is trying to get him sent to USA to do High School there. If that works out, then no problem. He doesnt mind loosing a year if he goes off abroad.

But he doesnt want to loose a year and stay in India.

What should he do guys??

He needs to decide in a week's time.

Actyally even I am a 12th std studentjust gav my exams and preparing 4 CET .
Some ppl in my classes [private tutions] batch gave 12th privately, they were free 2 study by there own will ,no lectures ,no pracs ,non prob at all.
But shuld hav good tutions like private classes .And shuld keen in touch wit frnds bout the portion.
Then every thing is smooth.
If he is goin abroad then nothing like it,or private 12th is not sucha bad idea.

So dat he can get admission 4 B.comm in jai hind easily.........

Thatz wat i think.
..............................Rogue.

He feels doing Privates is a bit Insulting. I dont blame him. Normally people look at people doing Privates as dumb. :(.

But if that is his only option. Then well, he has no choice.

Hes going for Foreign Education Councelling tomoro. Lets see what they can do for him :).

Thatz there ,my frnd had a major accident in 11th std becauz of which he had no other opt than to give private 12th ,but we use to support him ,othr wise even thou he was good at studing he use to feel low some times.

So thatz wat I SAID IF HEZ GOIN TO states itz well and good ,so that he'll get a change and might feel like studing hard..

Still ask him to think twice cauz Jai Hind iz a nice college.
...........................Rogue.

He isnt bad at studies. He just took 11th very lightly.
I dont blame him, most of us do.
Too many Politics going around even in colleges nowadays :P.
Plus he was Weak in Hindi and Maths itself.
Plus, he didnt even get 1 grace mark :(. Feel bad for him :(.

Ya There Are Politics Goin Round In College's
I Scored Best In My 1st 2 Exam's In F.y .j.c And Then I Did'nt Gav My Biology Paper 4 The Final, It Was Cool , Cauz I Completed 105 In 1st 2 Exams.
U Shuld Always Study First And Then Hav Fun
..................r0gue.

BTW..........How much grace marks were req 4 ur frnd to pass .

In BHAVANS COLLEGE ppl got atleast 10 marks grace. If a person needz in 2-3
subjects then I think he'll get 5 marks in each.

do reply..................R0GUE.

He needed 9 Marks in Hindi to reach 75.

Maths there was no scope. He needed more than 30 Marks.

Jai Hind offers 30 Marks Grace overall.

Im so shocked that he didnt get 9 Marks in Hindi (and hes dropping Maths anyhow)

Its just Politics since the college is overfull.

ADITYA
U said he needed more than 30 marks ,howz dat possible dear.
U dont get dat much marks in a suject . 30 or more than dat plus 9 marks sum ups to ,say 40 and u said jai hind offered only 30.
Still if there was N E problem he shuld hav talked to the princi .
See these are the things u should know when u step in college.
I already knew dat bcauz of sanket as he was in the same college , so I planned accordingly.

IN SUCH CASES IMMEDIATE ACTION IZ VERY IMP

NOW AS WE ALL KNOW DAT COLLGE POLITICS DO EXIST WE ALL SHULD BE CAREFUL ON OUR PART.

ALL THE BEST

aditya .. i suffered from illness when i was in 11th so have to drop a year .. it actually depends a lot i am just just 18 so it wont matter 4 me as if i'm dropping a year also in my state class 11/12 is seperate from colleges :).

i'd like to tell him.. doin in pvt is nothing bad this is a competition market.
whatever gets you going you whud do tht.
if he wants to loose a year he can .. if he wants to do it privately he can too but i dont see any point of goiin usa for this.
whats his age rt now if its 16~17 then droppin a year wont be of any issue provided hes well sound to get prepared within october.

Hes actually year younger than every1. Hes 16. Hell turn 17 at the end of this year.

Lets see, i think hes mostly paying money and getting into K.C. :ohyeah:

my advice, lose a year, go to US. the way education system stands here god bless the future generations.

OT: hindi was a nightmare. scored the lowest in Xth. then onwards only technical subjects. so found it relatively easy. how did he flunk in hindi btw. started every answer with "bole to..." :P j/k

Is that friend of yours yourself by any chance ?
Nopes, that's his freind Rajiv. He finished his 10th in Goa and had to go to Mumbai as his Dad was transferred.

Didn't even know he was in Ad1's college till yesterday on MSN :P
