PC Peripherals Help regarding Corsair CX600 PSU

Hello friends,

Just bought Corsair CX600 PSU from flipkart. But the power cable recieved with it is not fittable in any of the socket in my home. Pic of it has been attached. So can I use the power supply cable of my current 5 years old PSU Cooler Master Extreme Power 600 w? Just want to be sure whether it will damage my PSU or not. Because as seen in image it is written 13 A on the socket.

Get an adapter at near by electric/cable shop.

Your picture reminded me of an unused spike guard I am having and tried it. That plug fitted well in socket.

Those are first link that came on google search.
Spike gaurds are a better approach than those adapters.
