Hi Xero,

followin r the answers

1) 5hr to 6hr I guess
2) not upto iPod
3) Games, depends upon you if u want to buy the disc..please do so..support the industry!!
4) you have to use MSPD..upto 16GB!!

Battery life : Between 5 and 5.5 hrs..

the sound quality is okayish..

its the portability thats an issue.. u dont wanna keep the psp in ur pocket.. wd look like a slim brick in ur pocket..

i played the downloadable games from the net,

and not the demo versions..

but i am gonna purchase a few games which really blew me away.. always nice to have a proper game .. besides no hassle of connecting to the comp and then locating and copying .. just insert the diskette and off u go..

also as tiruda says.. support the industry as well..

^^^I have a few original UMDs that I never use. Ripped them into CSOs and play them from my card. Battery lasts longer and I don't have to carry the bulky UMD cases around. @Spacescreamer, you should try it out.

P.S. I'm all for supporting the industry, but ISOs work out more convenient and practical for me.

i kno that dude..

and i am not saying that running ISO is from any point of view a disadvantage.. its just the whole procedure.

1) Look up for the ISO .. i mean which platter one had archived it

2) Copy the file onto ur pc

3) Connect the PSP

4) Copy the ISO file

( u gen never can have enuf space on the mspdz .. u have to delete one or the other file)

5) Disconnect the psp

With the diskette (UMD)

1) Look for the UMD

2) As u r talkin over the fone/to ur folks at home/ insert it into the UMD compartment..

Thats it..

:P

I am all for the purchasing the games which u love the most.. i mean for how long and how many files one wd leech the games in his life ?

My Fav UMD purchasable games :

1) Tekken 8

2) Ridge Racer

It does make sense the way you put it, but for myself I only use the PSP when I'm out of station or on the road. At home, yeah, the UMDs are easier to use.
