ok,
i am hosting a forum on Jconserv.net for my cllg..
it allowes to have 5 extra pages.. so is it possible to have an alumni list, year wise and stream wise so that alumnis could just find their batchmates easily ..

i mean.. i will add one web page with a form where the member can insert their year of passing out and stream ... but where can i upload the data of users .. and how can the member search them year wise ...

help me :ashamed:

If u have a forum then surely u must have a DB. Upload the student details to DB na.

With SQL queries u can any data from the DB.

I don't think you will have access to the forum DB. Can you find out the DB username and password? Are you proficient in PHP+MySQL? Only then can you do what Josh has suggested.

Access to phpMyAadmin is one of the "upgrades". So adding tables, etc. doesn't seem to be allowed. I think jconserv.net would let you have 5 more "static" pages or those dynamic pages where there is no DB invloved.
