Help regarding Wifi router

Hey guys, need to make dads office wifi enabled, So wanted a few ideas and suggestions..
I dont know a $h!t abt wifi except for the adhoc mode...

I want the most basic router as range will not be an issue, if the difference is 300 or 400, i dont mind something better:ohyeah: , But the setup should be EASY...I may use it with bsnl broadband, so should be easy to connect..
Also please do mention if the router you suggest can be flashed to tomato or other firmwares...
Current choices ascertained by looking into other threads

1) Netgear wgr614

2) Buffalo WHRG54S

3) Buffalo G125
Also, what adapters can be used??Approx cost??

Buffalo WHRG54S best u can get for 2k... load up a tomato firmware and it becomes as good as the more expensive routers..
 
Second Sandy, you can't go wrong with Buffalo G54S at 2k. I have used both G54S and HP G54 but am using stock firmware since I don't need traffic shaping at the moment. You can load both tomato/ddwrt on buffalo.
 
Guys but if flash it to tomato, what would happen to the advanced buffalo features like airstation security and all???

Also is it good on stock firmware too???

hows it at covering a 1100sqft flat??if kept at one end...
Ps:- tried to find in nagpur, but could find no buffalo dealer..:( :(
