help!!! Rs. 2800 as first bill for BSNL 750 UL plan

Guys,

It's first month of me taking BSNL 750 UL broadband plan..

N Rs. 2800 is the bill amount that I have been handed.

I have taken the modem on rent basis.

People who have taken up this plan please help me out on clarification on certain things before I go n blast at the BSNL guys...

1. Do we have to pay some security deposit for taking broadband connection like the Rs. 500 that I had to give for the landline??

2. Is there some security deposit for the modem too???

If both of above applies then some how the Rs. 2800 can be justified (Rs. 1200 modem security and Rs. 500 broadband security = 1800)

So that would make Rs. 1800 + Rs. 1000(Regular bill) = Rs. 2800

If it is so then it is fine else I will go n talk to them...

So someone using this plan please help me out...

I dont your break up is proper...

Im guessing you got the bill amount from the sms they send?

Wait for the bill adn get the break up..

Have you used the phone for making calls too?

Did you take 750ul or 750ul+ ?

Too many combinations can be made so please tell the break up..
 
K i asked at the BSNL office n this is what they said is my breakup for this huge bill...

landline installment - 250

Broadband installment - 250

Broadband rent - 750

Modem monthly rent - 60

---------------------------------

1310

Advance Braodband rent - 750

Modem security - 500

-------------------------------

1250

Phone rental - 132

Service tax- 178

So, 1310 + 1250 +132 + 178 = Rs. 2870

Phew, thats it. N m amazed!!

I think from next month things would be fine as the installment charge n security deposits will be waved off!!!

N ya one more thing do we get back all the security deposits on disconnecting the connection??
