Help setup a network

Does anyone knows how i can share folder between two pc ina network, such that any other pc in the network cannot see it or access it. Only the read write access lie between the two pcs.

Assume running Winxp Prof SP2

Once you hv enabled the sharing as mentioned in above thread u can use run command for quick enabling shares.

Quick Enabling Your Shares

Go to START ---> RUN ---> shrpubw.exe

and simply follow the step.

To Monitor Your Shares:

Go To START ---> Run ---> fsmgmt.msc

it will show you ur shares/open sessions(user connected) as well as open files.

Accessing Your Share Over The Network:

You can access your shared files over the network by using UNC(universal naming convention)path

Go To START ---> RUN --->\\servername\sharename\

(you can also use ip address instead of servername).

P.S:. i recommend the standard way mentioned in the above thread for enabling and giving permissions.
