Does anyone know what are the options for a candidate who cannot get admissions to the junior colleges in Mumbai after his SSC?
I have a cousin who scored 76.xx% in SSC, and had filled up forms in various colleges. Unfortunately, he was not able to get through in any of them even on the third list. I've heard that the government (Education Dept) has some process whereby such candidates can fill up some form and the department would help them get admissions (but not in colleges of their choice) so that their year is not spoilt. Any idea about this? Where does one get this form?
