help to buy basic ADSL2+ modem

hey i have the bsnl adsl broadband plans and my modem is a crappy utstarcom modem.

i got a asus rt-n13u b1 router and im looking to get a new basic adsl2+ modem.
  • i just need 1 ethernet port. i can have the router do the rest. correct?
i dont want to be getting a new modem for a couple of years so after reading many posts for wired adsl modem routers, i shortlisted to

linksys and netgear

dlink seemed to be buggy.

linksys am300 is discontinued and the older netgear basic wired routers are not available so i came across this
Netgear DM111PSP/Netgear DM111PSP
one seems like a adsl router and the other a dsl router.
only the DM111P is available here @ anythinginit
specs are DM111P specs

i googled for the difference between the P and the PSP and found this

apparently there are 2 revisions

what i wanted to ask is will this suit my needs? any help would be really appreciated.
edit: ok i can get the d-link 2520u on ebay for 945rs. what say? any experience people?

have the netgear dm111p at home. Needs clean and stable line for good connectivity. Heats up quite a bit otherwise it is Ok

nevermind.
asked a few members here. they didnt have anything bad to say about it so i got the d-link 2520u from letsbuy @945rs.
hope it doesnt disappoint.

If you want an adsl cum wifi router with 300 Mb/s why dont you give the netgear dgn2200 with dual antenna a try ?

Then i think the WNR2200 will be suitable. However i dont have any idea about netgear products since i havent bought one. But the product appears promising.
