There are not very good ADSL Routers apart from DLink ones they are the best for RJ 45 cable , btw which ISP is it 8mbps on ADSL ?

You can try flipkart , letsbuy for purchase

i am using BSNL. BBG Speed Combo 2799

i am also planing to switch to reliance freedom 999 plan./Super Trump 2599

You can for the Linksys x2000 and x3000,this one supports both a ADSL connection and cable connection .My gut feeling says ADSL days are numbered with the theoretical 24mbps limit. So incase you move to a ISP that give service via cable or fiber you will need a router with a RJ-45 WAN port .So these routers from linksys has both it is pricey.

get the DLink.. very good performance at a very reasonable price.. the range is as good as the more expensive routers..

I have TP-link w8951nd (ADSL2 modem cum router) which I bought in Dec-2011 @2.2k for my airtel connection, It is quite good but want to sell it now as I have got fiber optic connection. Let me know if you interested.
