I am using Nokia-Siemens router (type 4 wifi) which I purchased from BSNL while subscribing for BSNL BB.

Recently a weird problem has cropped up.

The DSL indicator (the one which needs to stop blinking & become stable in order for BB to work), does not stop blinking until I switch off my PC (or put it to Sleep/hibernate). As soon as I switch my PC off, it stabilizes & I can use BB normally after switching the PC on. But after the router is rebooted, the process needs to be repeated.

Things turn weirder because even if I pull out the LAN cable from the router, the problem persists while there is no connection between the PC & the router! The PC has to be switched off to make the router work.

It seems that my PC is interfering somehow with the router without any physical connection. Is it some kind of interference ? Everything was fine for 2 years & the problem has started recently.
