gigabyte 770 mobo is gr8

Budget Socket AM3: Gigabyte MA770T-UD3P Mainboard Review - X-bit labs

this is a good mobo, and only downside is it got only one X16 slot. It suuports DDR3 1600, all solid caps, gr8 oc features, and rock stability for ocing.

Heard its around 5k.

which getting PSU, make sure its Al650AA, not AL650A.

AA is gr8 and is 84% effiecint and overloads upto 730W stable and still 82% efficient.

Gte some high performance 120mm fans for around 500~600 each with a minimum cfm of 90 to all way upto 130cfm. Above 130 wud be very noisy. Cm 90cfm LED models for 500 are cool.

hmm ok wll check out

@also 1 more thing .about UPS

can u brief me what stuff is required, have no idea about it :\

around 1k/1.5k .i hope that would be enough :p

GD70 is a way better mobo for the 955 as compared to the G65. Also have a look at the gigabyte 790 X model and the M4A79 T delux from asus. These are the top 3 as of now with the asus crosshair 3 still to come.

MSI 790GX-G65 ~8.5K
MSI 790FX-GD70 ~11.5K
Gigabyte 790FXT-UD5P ~12.5K
Asus M4A79T deluxe ~14.5K
Biostar TA790GX A3+ ~6K

These were the options I considered when buying AM3 mobo. Unfortunately G65 was not in stock, considered one of GD70 and A3+. With suggestions from this forum chose GD70 the top performer in most of the reviews.

if u can spend 10k+ for amd motherboard why not switch to lga 1366 platform. 955 be is priced close to i7 920.

Simialar featured board for i7 920 would be > 16K. Add a bit for triple channel, and 1.5K for proccy. That might mean 8-9K.
If you can afford it, core i7 is a good option and by the way, you might stick to 2 ram sticks, as there doesn't seem to be muchh diff in performance when using triple channel kit.
