help with d-link dsl 2730u n150 router

Hi guys,

DUe to some reason i had to reset the router back to factory defaults and i reconfigured it again. Now the problem is that if i disable DNS PROXY, i get no browsing at all. I have set google publick DNS, 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as my DNS on thr router. I have no proxy nor do i use any other router or modem or any sort of proxies. Why is it that only if i enable DNS Proxy on thr router i am able to browse. Please help.
 
Same thing suggested by Dlink customer care to my friend.

In my friend case suggested dns 4.2.2.2 adns 8.8.8.8 dont know why only with dlink modem
