Indian tunes don't fit so well into western genres. When it started i though this is acoustic but later on there are other accompanying instruments.
How big of a crew does he have ? Tabla, guitar, backup singer and that's it.

The only way you find similar music is by asking people like you have that like this kind of music
That is until such time as streaming apps develop Indian specific data on preferences based on what users like and you can ask for suggestions based on one track.

Does anyone know what kind of music or genre these video games cassettes had on their menu? I loved it when I was little. It felt victorious.
This is slightly related but not exactly the same. I think this is a good work music like lofi.
