CPU/Mobo help with motherboard connections...

guys could u please help me out wit the cable connections to the motherboard..
jus bought the new components today to assemble my cpu..
Proc: AMD Athlon X2 3600
MB : MSI K9AGM2
Ram : 1gb kingston ddr2 667mhz
HD: Samsung spinpoint(40 gb) IDE
drive : Samsung CDRW+DVD combo

as of now...i've put in the motherboard,made the basic connections except
but the 'speaker' wire from the cabinet,supply for the Cabinet fan..
SO COULD U JUS GIVE ME A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO CHECK ALL CONNECTIONS BEFORE POWERIN IT ON Huh
btw,this is my first time...assembling a cpu..

REALLY APPRECIATE THE HELP..
THNX.

shown below are pics of wat i've done so far..

Speakers ideally go on top of the reset pins . Speaker takes up 3 pins .

so suppose

Code:
.......[...] --> Speaker

........[..]-->Reset

make sure that that once you put the Speaker jumper , you should be able to see Speaker written on the top ( flat side ) if you look down from those Blue Sata connectors .

you have the ATX power connected , you have the +12V connected . jumpers are in place , you could so connected your cabinet front panel audio and usb as they are usally very helpful . the best option is to look up in the manual as its very detailed there .

thnx for de replies..and i was talking about the 'Speaker' cable that comes from the cabinet(the built in speaker in any CPU cabinet)..i jus can't find the pins for this..

and i need to verify whether my connections are right before i can safely turn it on for the first time..

thnx for de replies again ..
yesterday,i actually gathered up the confidence to power it on for the first time still being unsure of the final cable connections AND GUESS WAT ! It booted perfectly..guess i was right with all the connections..
My first full fledged computer assembly was a success indeed!

i sppse anyone who can read the manuals in-depth,do a little research on the net & have basic hardware knowledge can assemble his own comp.
:cool2:
