Help with mtnl needed (serious matter)

in other house of yr locality, same builder must have made it, go there n see from where the line comes out, seek elecrician who has worked in same situation .... ask other flat owners who have worked for them ..... this is not so complicated. How can society stop u from Installing a phone if they cannot provide you on!!

good electrician can help u,

i think he will connect the mtnl wire (inside flat) to electric supply and then he will test the otherside(junction box) with the tester or so and will find the exact line for urs room....

i think this is the way he tested in my flat.

i can give u my electrician nmber if u want

The wires in the junction box are messed up and so electricians could not find them using the method you have mentioned

please pm me the no. of your electrician

Ask MTNL to provide wire from junction box to your flat, they will do if you OPT, while booking land-line, MTNL will charge Rs.250/- Officially but will manage & maintain free for life time. If you ask any pvt. guy or mtnl lineman in pvt. for rs.250/- he will do same but they will charge every time to manage & solve any issue related to that line (wire).

Than ask secretary to find out wire for you from Junction, secretary seems to be Problematic culprit in every societal, especially in Mumbai?

I too have very long wire as our building don't have MTNL junction, problem is some time very good speed, some time, disconnect in between & reconnect. 1-2 time may be problem (dead) in monsoon but your complaint will attend promptly & than no problem even if heavy rain. My connection wire is nearly 10 meter in open air/water & sunlight, but it's by MTNL so I don't care as they will replaced/repair it promptly if any problem in future.

MTNL has charges me Rs 500 but still they are denying me to do that job an d telling to get it done from outside

Yes guys i will tell the secretary to give me permission or get it done

but i will have to wait until the next meeting where the matter will be discussed and it will take 6 ~ 8 months or so

fit a new line from th juntion box , same probs with me the wire were so damn consealed no one found it so i bought 30 meter wire and from the 4th floor to the ground floor(wher the juntion box is) the electrician did the job took 3 hourse but he did and the wire are now cased in a white case thru out my house looks irritating bu kiya karey

Yes will keep the method of that white casing in my mind

6-8 months? lol. is the society office not open on sundays? go and tell them you are facing a lot of difficulty trying to get a line and they might help you. They must have faced a similar problem when they got their phone connection and will have experience.

Not not open on sundays

just they call for AGM twice in a year

PS : Most of them are old members so they have already installed the lines
