Video Help with my airtel dth.

i have sony 32EX400 and airtel hd dth. i have been using the dth for around 7-8 months and now for the past 7 days i am facing a problem. when the set top box is connected using the hdmi cable there is no picture on the tv but sound is there. so i changed the hdmi cable but that didn't helped. so now i am watching tv with traditional rca connector. so is there any way to fix the hdmi thing? will airtel charge to fix it? thanks in advance.
 
Afaik the generally charge rs 100 to send a engineer.seems a problem with the dth itself.have you checked using another device connected to the tv.does it play fine?
 
two quick things,

Check your settings in the DTH menu and select the HDMI port as the preferred Video output.

And try different port in the TV.

If both things fail then it could be the turn of the calling the CC and asking for service support.
