Ok guys so I got the EVGA 7900 GT Superclocked and when I installed it. This is what I get in RivaTuner "$000000000f PCIE link width : 16x supported, 4x selected". So does anyone know how to change the PCIe to 16x. Pleas help me
Awww damn it. I'm kind of a noob at thoes things so when I readi that it supports PCIe 16x I got it. So hher is the thing can u suggest me a motherboard that will support the PCIe 16x, I will be able to put my processor (Intel Pentium 4 3.2GHz (800FSB) Prescott CPU with Hyper-Threading) in it, and my Ram ( 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM System Memory) (link http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16820145525) for a good price ( meaning cheap )
hmmm I'm running the card right now 3dmark05 is 5700, but if u guys say it's necessary i will upgrade
I will make sure to check the dimensions for the motherboard tommorow / when i wake up later tonight and than i will choose and probablly order the card..... I will ask u guys later which one u reccomend from my 3-4 choices
The link you had given does mention the PCIe Lite slot can be upgraded to a 16x slot but doesnt mention anything about it. Can you check in the manual? For some reason the pdf doesnt get downloaded from the ECS site.
