My younger brother got a Reliance Net Connect device from a taxi or somethin. It cant be returned by any means, or will have to hand over to Reliance Care (he doesnt prefer that).

He says, he want to use it, i mean is there any way of using it ? AFAIK its a CDMA device and reliance guys can track it down if we connect it to the USB port or cut the connection.

Each data card has two numbers associated with it: MDN and RSN. MDN is mobile directory number same as mobile number for CDMA phones. RSN is special number provided by Reliance to keep track of ESN/MEID of device. If the previous owner of device reports that his data card is lost then Reliance will block RSN and in no way you would be able to use it. Best option is to return back to Web World and they can track the original user using RSN number printed on device and return it back to him.
