Help with Setting Up a Home Network

Guys plz help me
I have a Desktop with Belkin G Router and a Dell Inspiron 1525
i need to set up file sharing and printing support in them
the desktop i have is using Windows 7 Pro x64 and the laptop is using windows Vista Home Premium.
plz help its quite important
