I am Sarath and use my own name on forums to avoid confusing myself :p

I have, during my various online searches, come accross many review and posts on TE forums but never registered here. I finally took the call and decided to register in what seems like a very happening place for tech enthusiasts. I hope I get to learn a lot from this forum too.

I am finding it a little difficult to post and navigate here. I tried posting in two threads with topics like "Is airtel throttling..." "Letsbuy coupon codes" and "pristinenote feedback" etc but I have been unable to post them. First 10 posts are moderated, then the mods activate the account completely. But if I don't post then my account will remain dormant. How do I get out of this loop?

This was the only post / thread I could make.
 
Are you getting any error when you post ? Your account is active, only the first few posts will not appear till they get approved by a moderator
 
I am an active member of another tech forum. I have registered myself in a few more tech and automotive forums in the past few months and am quite aware of this drill which seems common place; the first few or ten more commonly posts being moderated.

However all my prev accounts got activated after a few posts so I was never bothered. But here I am unable to post and this is the message I get:

I am only able to make posts in this thread which doesn't have much purpose beyond the OP.

So I am a little worried as I cannot post at all. I am not complaining about my posts missing since I know they have to approved by a Mod first and only then will they appear here.

I read that certain sections will be closed to new members. I reckon I might be hitting one of those "closed" threads.

I am quite perplexed. Honestly if this wasn't TE, I would have given up :) But I have learnt a lot from here, back when I was building my rig, in May this year and want to make a small footprint here.

Sorry to hi-jack your thread Sarath! But, I am facnig the same issues. I just cannot post in many threads..!

For example, I recently completed a purchase and need to add a appreciation for the dealer at 'http://www.techenclave.com/pristinenote/special-deal-sandisk-sansa-clip-4gb-200067.html' but am simply unable to do so.

Anyone has any tips please post!

Yes its quite possible you could be hitting a thread in a closed section. Could you post the link to the thread?

I saw you were able to post in threads in the Wireless Internet section, so it could be the above.
 
Err...thanks but this is so old that the only reason I came here was to check, who had stolen my TE name. Turns out its my own Intro thread.

Hope I'm not sounding rude.
