i heard from my friend of some High Quality Cables for Connecting ur TV to ur Hi-Fi which Improves the Picture quality on Tv while Playing DVD's .... is this True ? :)

apart from wat the Mgf gives any other good cables around which can do a Better job ?

the whole topic of cables affecting signal quality is the subject of a never ending debate.

but the fact is , the very cheapest cables degrade signal clarity, and when you get better ones, there is lesser degradation, and you get a better picture. but beyond a certain price point, its just futile.

either way, i dont think *any* cables will improve picture quality beyond what the source can give

i am well aware of that mate ... wat i am looking for is 3 rd party cables which a Beter Job than the one given by the Mfg

i think u are referring to component cables. if your tv has the support for them then hook up your dvd player via component. the quality of dvd is mindblowing compared to normal rgb, because in component it works in hdtv/edtv. 480p or 576p depending on ntsc or pal.

if you are referring to changing your rgb cables & buying expensive rgb cables then dont as its not worth spending.

Unless you have a really high end TV, no use changing cables. With very high end speakers and amps, cables do make a difference. Its not about cost but rather about what sounds the best.

Edit: Monster is something you'd rather avoid. Other than a few cables, most of it is overpriced junk :P.

check the back of the tv if it has component in. Yg Pb Pr its called. also make sure your dvd player has component out.

if both have it then go & buy the component cables & in your dvdplayer options enable progressive scan after u attach these wires.
