Hi all,
I have got a new Compaq laptop some 2 weeks back..
Its mother board is HP presario v3000, 80 gb, 1 gb ram
The problem is i feel it gets way too more hot than a laptop should..
The GPU temperature when i measured from everest home showed 75 degrees, when idle...
Moreover after playing any high grafics game for 2-3 hrs, the GPU temp rises to aroung 96 degrees..and then all the graphics goes off..the graphics totally crashes..
I have windows Xp pro installed..
The CPU temp still remains low to 39 degrees...
Can any one suggest something...
thank you..

hi
Actually i tried to find out which GPU is it..i tried everest home for it but its not showing it for GPU alone, its feild value nothing is getting displayed...
Any other way to find out which GPU?

Hi
I checked in the GPU properties, it says the gpu core slow down threshold is 135 deg C..
so do you think 96 C is just normal?
but its making my laptop really hot..
