high pings?

I am a BSNL user from past week or more i am getting higher pings then usual, usually in CS 1.6 i get 46-55 ping for mumbai servers , these days its totally gonecase , i get 80+ ping , yesterday actually was little good i was getting ping in mid 70s.

I probably guess it affects online gaming more then anything ,not sure though thats from where i learnt the meanin of ping :P
 
Higher pings and packet loss on and off for the last week. Extremely noticeable on bsnl broadband; the problem is a lot less right now with airtel.

Extremely irritating.

high pings = slower downloads, slower page loading and streaming video/audio problems.

very erratic pings and packet loss (usually these go hand in hand) will lead to dropped connections, terminated vpn type services, transfers, loss of non-restartable downloads, choppy streams, slower/erratic page loading, login/logout problems etc etc etc

and yes online gaming becomes impossible.
