Graphic Cards High temperatures with BIG 6600GT pci-e

I played FEAR on 1024x768 with 4X AA and 8X AF and recorded the temperature on rivatuner's log . The max temperature that the card reached is 87c which is very high i suppose. My systems specs are listed below.

Got this card from Rave ,he already applied AS5 on the core. Now what are the other things i can try ? On idle the temperature is around 57c.
 
yup, most certainly case Airflow, try running the game without the side panel just to be sure...

Also do u have a PCIe vent on the side panel??With a fan ofcourse!

i have two fans on one of the side panels (left side if you look from front), which work as inward fans .. and a fan below the smps which serves as exhaust ...thats it..all local ones 80mm
 
Sorry if i sound stupid .... but have u checked if the fan on the 6600gt is working at full speed
 
There is something called as reference fan duty cycle in Rivatuner and thats showing a 100%
