Google has introduced a new text input tool for Google Docs which lets users type in languages like Hindi , Chinese and Russian .
The tool can be enabled by clicking the File drop-down menu and hovering the mouse on Language .. and then select the language you want to use .
The tool will appear on the right side of your toolbar . You can activtate the text input tool by clicking its icon or by using a keyboard shortcut: Cmd + Shift + K on a Mac or Ctrl + Shift + K on a PC.
The text can be entered by typing phonetic spelling of word using Latin characters and then selecting the word amongst the matching choices or using virtual keyboard of the language in which you want to type . The tool has either or both of these two input modes depending on the language .
