Hip hip hooray :@

How much faith do you have in the article of Times of India survey...plus...Every survey company has different parameters with which they compare the earnings of an individual...which means if World Bank says that one person is poor another institution say IMF will say that according to them that person is not poor. We should also take into consideration the Rupee value against the dollar when the survey is done as it is always fluctuating.

All in all i am really not interest in what is written on paper as i doubt that the person preparing the report has ever gone out of his office to see the people being surveyed (bullshit) I believe only in what i see.

Aces, your an atheist we all know that, dont need to tom-tom it.

So dont keep ranting about the anti-religious $hit that you spew everyday.

Start donating some gujju wealth that you have and then talk.

Gujjus hold like 59.9999% of Indias wealth and Aces alone has like 25.678% of that but still he blames everything on the religious organisations, sad.

^^ The survey is done by world bank, and no, they are done using the purchasing power parity exchange values, which is a much more accurate tool in these studies then tradional exchange rates

Hehe but no I am not, just disregard the second part. Its just OMG we are so poor ;)

The primary reason for the second comment, was because of another ratio I just read about today, the collections by the govt from selling the 3g license (around 35-40k crore) is equal to 75% of the country's fiscal deficit. Wow so for potential social networking, we can wipe off all our farmer's woes !!!

^^ Sarcasm anyone?

sar·casm

1. harsh or bitter derision or irony.

2. a sharply ironical taunt; sneering or cutting remark: a review full of sarcasms.

Religious organizations are akin to pestilence for human beings, religions are not.

Religion is an individual-level thing which is perfectly alright but religious organizations exist in public which is definitely a curse for human beings.

Religion conducts an individual's life and act, religious organizations try to conduct the public's life and act and that creates all sort of troubles.

Religion can act as a moral code to an individual that at times is not only useful but also necessary, specially in societies that do not believe in reason and logic and can not determine the moral code themselves, but religious organizations try to act as moral guardians and impose a certain moral code on society that destroys the inter-people relations.

One example: because of institutionalization of religion, a Muslim man (or for that matter a Hindu man) may even go as far as to disown him, if he says that he believes in some other religion

If you want to be a better human being, keep your religion to yourself.

^^ Aptly put, couldnt have said better....

I am a jain, and a vegetarian. But I am not hooplah about the Jain religious trust who will actually spend crores in decorating the idol of our god..... But these trust also donate huge amounts of money for the poor as well as animal welfare. My point is that put the money in places where it is required...

No offense, I am just playing Devils Advocate... but doesn't it seem that even if the figures were off by even 20%, that is still a lot of people that could use help..... would you still refuse them help because the report is wrong?
