Storage Solutions Hitachi 750gb 1 yr warranty for 2.4K, good deal?

I am planning to get 500gb wd, but I stumbled upon a deal for hitachi 750gb for 2.4K(same as 500gb) but warranty is just 1 year. Is it worth the risk? Do you guys think it's better to go with hitachi? I currently don't know whether that 71000.c or not.

Considering the price its good But as per warranty details its not recommended unless you are not concerned about money !!

Price is good for 750GB.. But my personal recommendation would be not to buy it due to the warranty of just one year..

Wouldn't recommend this deal because of the warranty period. You are better off getting a WD 500GB drive through a local outlet/eBay/Regd. Dealers on TE for less than 2.5k.
