Storage Solutions Hitachi sata hdd data cable slot prob

I have 250gb hitachi sata hdd.yesterday while removing the hdd data cable the black support of the data slot got stuck in the data cable,now the hdd doesn't have the support under the data cable slot,the golden rails r there,now pc is not detecting the hdd,hdd is getting power if the cables r connected but nothing in bios.Whats the solution for this,how can i get the hdd detected.

The black support under the data slot is gone only the golden lines r there.

Replace sata+power connector at repair shop.

do they replace the slots with new ones,what shop exactly should i go to?

if its in warranty contact hitachi otherwise go to computer hardware repair shop.

few years back one of my friend got replaced his HDD ide connector

What about the data in the hdd,hdd is in warranty,will hitachi only replace the slot or will they rma the hdd and i will lose the data?

^ i doubt that because generally HDD are not eligible for RMA if they are physically damage, as it is in your case. My suggestion get the slot replaced.
And no you will not loose the data, if you replace the slot, to make this foolproof, better take only the pcb to the repairing shop to replace the damage slot
