i got a 1.5 tr hitachi split ac ,model is ace cut out. it cools wells . it is with lot of features. i would like to know few things about my ac installation.my tech man connected indoor and outdoor unit with copper tube with an arc shape( tube length used just one feet). should the connecting tube have a inverted "u" shape or the tube can be a straight one. the next is about a small mild roaring sound in the indoor unit when ever i swith on the ac. can these two things be clarified . thanks with regards
 
There shouldn't be any sound. I have the 1.2 ace and its super silent.

There will soon be a technical inspection by the Hitachi team (this team is not outsourced)... so they will come and see how the installation is done. When they came to my place they saw a bit of the copper wire protruding out and they said its not done properly and that they'd like to send someone again if we were ok with it. I was impressed.

Fortunately my room renovation wasn't over as yet. So they broke a bit of the wall etc and i was fine with it. if they'd have come later and told me they'd spoil my room I'd have screwed them then and there.

No clue on that as yet. Still a bit of the touch up jobs in the room are left. So the AC is not being used as yet.
