Hello Folks,

Bought this from eBay India back in 2017. It's a HMT Janata with an Aftermarket dial (dial is not made by HMT). The watch is in good condition and keeps time. It's a hand-wound Mechanical watch. The watch DOES NOT come with a strap or an original HMT box. The Lug Width is 18mm and case size is 35-36mm.

I will ship the watch via Maruti Courier from Kolkata safely packed in a plastic box. Will communicate with buyer over WhatsApp and send video of watch along with all other details. My first wristwatch was an HMT Janata. I believe it was the first model made by HMT. My father bought it for me from Delhi in1966 when he went with a delegation to discuss an insurgency that had broken out in my region. At that time, the watch was available only to the armed forces. My father managed to buy it with the help of the Home Ministry. It cost Rs.98/-.
