I am trying to set up a home network. I have a cable internet connection which feeds my "AirPlus Xtreme G" router. My computer(which I want to be the server) is directly connected to the router via a patch cable. the other computer has a wireless network card. How can I (if possible have control over the other computer, or at least this remote computer have access to my printer.

use a straight cable from thr router to the switch to interconnect,
then connect all other pcs to the switch.dats it n its done, or else..
donn make any server let router be the server instead,use ur console to manage ur router,then put ur ISP's Cable on eth0 of ur router(i suppose ur router has more than two ethernet ports{eth=ethernet,0=ethernet no1},eth1=ethernet no 2) then connect ur switch on eth1 of ur router.n use use
198.162.0.1 series to define ur network.. dats it ,...
