I mean show off about sound right? Disturb the surrounding folks, let the surrounding girls know that "I dont give a damn" guy lives around?

Thats the kind of setup right?

hehe lol @ that.

Lets not go OT here. @OP:For this kind of a need you wouldn't need to spend 40K. The king of boom Logitech Z5500 should serve the purpose of destroying the SQ in favour of irritating the neighbours.. :P

lol no .... you guys got me wrong, when i said blows people mind off i meant the people in the room, he doesn't want to disturb the neighbours .....

what i meant was the guys is not really in audiophile kind of setup, he needs some good speakers just for movies, it will not be used for music.

go for JBL SCS200 @ ~25000/-
HK133 Reciever @ ~12000/-

Very good combo for the price as far as games or movies is concerned according to cranky. I hae heard its younger sibling the SCS140 and it really sounds decent for the 13K price tag. So i guess the SCS200 should live up to the mark.

Alternatively the wharfedale moviestar 50+/65+ are also around the same price point.
