@vyral_143 Intel motherboards no longer carry PATA ports, since they were dropped from support from the Sandy-Bridge days. Suggest you go for the following --

I am actually confused over graphic performance of Trinity(A4-A6) vs Intel HD 2500/4000.

For HD RIPz and casual games (define these) Intel iGP is good enough and budget Trinity pieces are no where in sight so I cannot hazard guessing a wrong price and combo.

If Intel IGP can handle games like Call of Duty 4, etc he would be fine with it.

Also what should be next Intel Proccy I should keep in mind, 3220 ?

^^ Then I suggest that he waits for Trinity but eitherway he will have to up his budget, even current generation iGP's are not powerful enough to run such old titles with decent eye-candy @full HD.

Resolution he will be operating would be 1280x1024 but not full HD as no such display

Then the onus shifts from the GPU to the processor, where the Intel processor is better.

Try to convince him to get a newer Intel Core i3 3220 / 3225 ~6500/-. It will be much better than getting the Pentium Dual-Core / Core i3 2100 with the older HD2000 series iGP.
