Fastest single card for 2+ yrs, Still plays all games, more ROPS and more pixel power than the 4870 ??, possibly GTX/Ultra best all time best GPU ever made in history ?? :bleh:

yeah its better ...but its a power hungry monster...also it runs hot...

4850 doesnt match ultra , even 8800 GTX is faster than 4850 , ultra has much more memory bandwidth and 384bit memory , it is around 10 % faster than 4850 . only if it consumed lower power it would have been great deal .

ok 10% lower performance, much lower power consumption, lower heat & $60 lower cost

so 4850 is much more value for money
