Do you pay through Amazon or through the website?
I wanted to know if you get ads on the Premium 4k plan too. It says in their disclaimer that sports live has ads so wondering if the extra price is worth it. I don't have 4k tv but want ad free experience.
The 899 plan has ads in everything i guess. Amazon has some upto 200 back offer only on the 1499 plan.
 
I paid through Amazon when they offered 250/- off. Yes there are Ads during Live event and I think it is common for all OTT platform.
 
how is the quality? is it 4k/1080p always? yesterday night i was watching the highlights of pak-aus warmer and the 1080 stream was good. not as good as youtube 1080p. what i liked was it never went down to 720p or 480p in between.
 
Unless stated otherwise, it is always 1080p. But mainly to compete with Jio Cinema for their 'Asli 4K' branding... I'm not sure HotStar will obtain 4K stream for the upcoming event. So expect FHD for Live Sports Event.
