I always wanted to have a small screen to monitor stats while playing games and get realtime details if my scuffed ITX build is overheating or not.
I came up with node mcu wifi system which keeps in pinging my hosted python server on PC and displays the stats on OLED screen.
Then I thought when I am using an MCU, I can use a IR sensor and use that as a switch. So hooked up relay and IR sensor to node MCU and integrated both systems in the same code base.
Work left: make a 3d case and put all components together
