how are sammsung dvd players?

samsung players are quite good but the there are other models like pioneer DV410 which have the edge in video quality and upscale video.
 
IMO the best option is to go for samsung DVD-1080P9 which has upscaling to 1080p..just ~1.5k(5k MRP) extra. street price should be less

This model has received many good reviews..
 
in near future i am no way close of buying a LCD screen so Full HD upscaleing will be a waste of money in this case

well even upscaling to 720p is done better by the pioneer,which are available in grey market easily.in showrooms they are very expensive.
